** Coronavirus Update**
All the dates you see on our website are now live .
What about the 'Rule of 6'?
The government's new rule means you can attend our events as a single person, a couple or a small group of 3-6 people but you cannot now attend as a party of more than 6. The rule doesn't mean you can't come into a venue if it already has more than 6 people inside and the government have since clarified this. Most people book our events as singles or couples anyway, but if you are coming with friends you would like to socialise with there is now an upper limit of 6.
Our main Guildford venue is The Guildford Institute and staff there have been implementing all relevant safety guidelines. We will be using their most airy and spacious meeting rooms to ensure space and safety for everyone.
We will be doing some things differently:
class sizes will be smaller to maximise space around participants
tasting glasses and will be laid by staff wearing gloves
tasting samples will be poured and brought to your table by the course tutor while wearing mask and gloves
hand sanitiser or sanitary wipes will be available
forms for tasting to be emailed prior to the event
please bring your own water bottle
you are not required to wear masks in the tasting room but must in the common part of the building
if you want a spittoon, we can supply a disposable paper cup for your discrete personal use
As a small business we are extremely grateful for your continued support. We hope that now the thought of coming to a delicious wine tasting event will bring some joy and relief to you and your friends.
You can still join us online from your home!
We continue to run our popular ONLINE wine tastings - fun, informative and sociable (click to find out more).
We thank you in advance for your support in adhering to these measures during our events. Please keep an eye on our list of events as this will be updated as we confirm our Autumn schedule.
